Daria Klisch. By cats' side for more than 20 years.
I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals of every kind. I've lived with my own cats for 15 years and have cared for very different animals in that time. I bring this experience into your home.

From the first day to old age

Today three cats live with me, and each one is different:
- Maja, 13, is calm and shy. She likes little contact and comes by herself when she wants to be stroked.
- George, 10, is very affectionate. He'd like to be stroked all day and never gets enough.
- Puffy, 2, is the whirlwind: an exceptional athlete who loves a challenge. He's sociable, enjoys feline visitors and lets everyone share his food. He's not much of a cuddler; he prefers to sit at the foot of the bed and watch.
Three cats, three personalities. That's exactly what good care is about: every cat gets what it needs, whether closeness, space or exercise.
In Greece I looked after up to 15 cats at a time, outdoor and indoor cats. Among them were kittens only five days old who needed round-the-clock care, as well as cats in old age.
I found Puffy there next to a rubbish bin in midsummer, three weeks old at most. I took him in, cared for him and raised him together with George and Maja.
This experience helps me read behaviour. Is a cat eating less because it misses its people, or because something is wrong? Is it hiding out of caution, or because it's in pain? Recognising such differences is the core of my work.
In autumn 2026 I'm also completing a first aid course for cats.
A cat may be just as it is.
Not every cat likes physical affection. Some prefer to play, others need exercise, and others above all need peace and space.
I follow your cat's needs, not my own ideas. Because a cat that may be just as it is feels safe and understood — even when its people aren't there.
Three perspectives. One task.
My professional foundation comes from three directions. Together they give a close look at your cat.
Understanding behaviour
My biology studies gave me deep insights into animal behaviour research. I read body language and notice when a cat behaves differently from usual.
Body and movement
With a degree in sports science, movement is my expertise. I see how a cat moves, whether it's favouring something, and design play and activity so that it does the cat good.
Seeing connections
Behaviour has causes. I look at connections rather than individual symptoms. That applies to animals as well as people, and it helps me listen to you carefully.
For you this means: I notice when something is different from usual. And you get feedback you can rely on.
Why people matter too
I'm passionate about both sides: the person and the animal. For me, they belong together.
Going away means leaving a family member behind. I take time for your questions, listen carefully and keep you updated. So you can let go while your cat is in good hands with me.
